Congratulations to the ServeSA team on the launch of three more ICT training centres over the past four months. ServeSA’s nine training centres now span most of South Africa, including the Free State (Maokeng), Northern Cape (Noupoort), KwaZulu-Natal (Cliffdale and Bongindawo), Western Cape (Atlantis and Pinelands) and Gauteng (Soshanguve, Dimphonyana and Buccleuch), with two more centres underway for 2024.

A big thank you to Entelect Software for being the primary sponsor of hundreds of foundation students who attend these classes, enabling them to graduate with NQF Level 3 National Certificates in Information Technology.

The primary focus of these training centres is to teach basic IT skills to beneficiaries who would otherwise not be able to afford these studies. As students graduate, the objective is to offer Entelect scholarships and study facilities in these centres to students who qualify for university-level education.

ServeSA has also recently formed a partnership with Alpha Omega Mission who will deliver Christian study classes in these centres, counselling support, as well as healing seminars to these communities. Another strong partnership is with the Light of Hope Homes and Schools NPO, where the focus is on the delivery of feeding schemes, drug rehabilitation centres, home shelters and home schooling to these communities, as is currently the case in the Gauteng.
