The Alpha Omega Foundation is pleased to announce that we have opened four new ServeSA ICT training centres in South Africa in partnership with Entelect Software. Entelect is the primary sponsor of the centres’ infrastructure and also provides full study grants for the students.

This project, which has 6 training centres throughout South Africa, has opened the door for approximately 150 students in impoverished communities to receive their NQF Level 3 National Certificates in Information Technology: End User Computing, with a view to doubling the intake in 2024. The intention is to also bring additional income to these community centres to further their causes and to upskill as many as possible, for example, the centre at Bongindawo School in rural KwaZulu Natal gives school children the opportunity to do classroom-based computer studies in the mornings, while the End User Computing classes for adults take place in the afternoons. The next step, in partnership with Entelect, is to sponsor distance-learning university level studies from these centres and, together with the Alpha and Omega Mission and Light of Hope Homes NPC, to introduce feeding schemes and to offer spiritual support and rehabilitation homes.

Together with the established training centres in the Eastern Karoo and Johannesburg, our centres can now be found in Maokeng (Free State), Soshanguve (Pretoria), Atlantis (Cape Town) and Ubuhlebezwe (Kwazulu Natal).
