Computer classes are now in action
June 2, 2022
Our computer classes have gone live in the Johannesburg and Eastern Karoo Light of Hope Homes and Schools. These classes have been launched to upskill those in our care and other beneficiaries who are seeking a formal ICT certification. The course, which is fully accredited by the Media Information and Communication Technologies Sector Education and Training Authority (MICT SETA) of South Africa, covers word processing, spreadsheet applications, presentation software and numeracy and communication skills. This project is being spearheaded by The Foundation’s training manager Francisco de Sequeira. The IT infrastructure, laptops and study grants for all our beneficiaries are funded by Entelect Software, while ServeSA Trading is the delivery partner.
