At our Johannesburg Light of Hope School, one classroom – no matter how big – was never going to have enough room to accommodate our preschoolers, scholars and those completing their ICT training. So, in February 2022, we broke ground and built three more dedicated classrooms. Having the extra classrooms means that all learners are now separated into their respective ages and can learn the appropriate curriculum and at the right pace. Our dedicated teachers, headed by Colleen Angus, work with the scholars, educate them in the relevant subject matter and ensure that they participate the various activities on offer at the homes.
